And so I climb aboard the Blood Pressure Roller Coaster.  Yesterday’s instructions were to take double the betablockers this morning if my diastolic was higher than 90, which it was (although improved at 140/110), and so I did.

Two hours later, I approached my boss with the possibility that I might pass out that thus  should maybe not hang around the office all day.

The quick block-and-a-half walk to my car led to some serious chest pain and the possibility (in my anxious mind, at least), that I drop dead from the exertion  of traveling 100 meters in high heels.  It took about 6 hours to pass, but at least now I’m fairly certain I’m not about to kick it.  And I’ve got another doctor’s appointment tomorrow which makes for two not only in a week, but also in a year.

And that’s maybe my best accomplishment of the week - I’m actually paying attention to my whole health.

Something to say?
